Joseph Flanagan is a seasoned sales leader, coach, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling successful teams - recognized for his ability to turn raw talent into powerhouse performers. He is the Founder and Chariman of Acquirent and LeadJen, award-winning sales execution firms named three times to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America.

Joseph launched his first company, JP Flanagan Corporation, at just 27 years old, growing it into one of Chicago’s largest insurance agencies with offices nationwide. Since then, he has trained and employed hundreds of Chicago’s top sales professionals, combining sharp strategy with the personal mentorship needed to thrive in every sales function.

Today, Joseph also serves as Growth Partner at Distributed Ventures, an early-stage VC firm where he helps portfolio companies build go-to-market strategies, fortify commercial teams, and drive revenue milestones from the ground up.

A passionate believer in people-first leadership, Joseph knows what it takes to make a sales team—and organizations—thrive. He extends that same philosophy to his community work, having previously served as Chairman of the Cook County Health Foundation and Access To Care, and as a board member for the Cook County Economic Development Committee and First Bank & Trust of Evanston.
