Brendan has more than 20 years of experience in digital content production, distribution, and revenue generation. Prior to joining Pushly, Brendan attained success as EVP, Disney Advertising Sales overseeing the National Geographic portfolio across all channels, linear, digital, social, OTT, publishing, branded content and led Global Consumer Products and Licensing. During his tenure National Geographic received Media Company of the Year honors as well as winning the Cannes Gold Lion for the Branded Content documentary, “Breaking 2” in collaboration with Nike as well as the award-winning series, “Activate” in partnership with P&G and Global Citizen. Brendan also oversaw revenue generation for National Geographic’s social channels which has the largest audience of any brand in the world.
Prior to Disney, Brendan spent 16 years at Time Inc in various leadership roles at brands leaving as President of the Technology, Finance and Finance Verticals.
He is a board member of several media and charity organizations, including the American Advertising Federation, Concern Worldwide and is a voting member of the and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Brendan also served as the North American representative on the Global Board of the International Advertising Association from 2017-2019. He was named to the Adweek “Young Influentials Under 40” list in 2016.
