We are working to address key drivers contributing to food insecurity and nutrition. Our main objective is to build local assets at both institutional and household level. Therefore, we take a holistic approach of integrated programming for reducing food losses; enhancing food diversity through expanding localised options, and community capacity building as well as good hygiene management.

Our focus is to improve access to WASH facilities for targeted communities. Currently, an estimated 8.4 million people are living without clean water facilities. Through our programme, we promote access to clean water and behaviour change through improved sanitation and enhancing hand washing facilities and training.

We are addressing the key challenge of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) through the provision of safe and dignified spaces. We target young girls in schools and teachers to raise awareness about the critical aspects of effective MHM and subsequent positive health impacts.

We are committed to assisting the most vulnerable communities. We work with communities to provide agricultural assets, improve existing physical infrastructure, deliver climate-smart inputs for Conversation Agriculture (CA) and System for Rice Intensification (SRI) to promote sustainable solutions. Gender balance is key for capacity building on climate-smart practices to improve crop production and reduce post-harvest losses.

We also respond to emergencies anywhere in the country and train communities on key Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) techniques.
